Brussels is overflowing with invisible and silenced talent, busy hustling to find the space and the cultural support they need to create their films. Brussels is a city with many prestigious stages, but where the stories and realities of Brussels are neither shared nor celebrated.
This is where System_D comes in: a festival with no formal requirements,
open to the city and its
inhabitants.
Join us 15, 16 & 17 December 2023 @ KVS For a new, outstanding edition of the festival!
A selection of films, video clips, documentaries, photographs, installations and new narrative forms will be on show.
Four prizes will be awarded to the winners: 3 chosen by the jury of experts & 1 chosen by the public.
To be eligible to win one of the prizes there are two conditions:
— your film was shot in Brussels
— you don’t go to film school
We do program films outside of competition so don’t hesitate to send us your film if the festival appeals to you but you don’t meet both criteria.
